GoGet Comes To Kennards Self Storage Penrith

September 16, 2022 by Kennards Self Storage

Kennards Self Storage Penrith and GoGet have come together to help Kennards Self Storage customers move.

Kennards Self Storage Penrith customers not only have 24hr a day/7 Day a week access to the secured Penrith site, but they also now have 24/7 access to a ‘Go Get Van’ which has found its new home in Penrith.

GoGet is a membership-based car and van sharing service, giving customers access to a range of vehicles without the expense and hassle of owning one.

The GoGet Van is a diesel fuelled, automatic transmission, 2 seat Toyota HiAce moving van with heaps of cargo space to get customers moving, now conveniently located just outside the Penrith Kennards Self Storage office.

The GoGet Van can be hired by the hour or by the day.

Customers can join online: https://www.goget.com.au/Kennards/

How does it work?
After registering and activating your card, go to the dedicated vehicle parking space at Kennards Self Storage Penrith and inspect the vehicle. Use your swipe card to unlock the vehicle and drive. Return the vehicle back to the dedicated space when finished.

Swipe off with your card and walk away. You can book the van for as little as an hour or as long as you need.

The 6 Golden Rules of GoGet

  1. Inspect for Damage -Before starting your booking, do a quick check for damage. If you find any, check if it’s been reported on the Vehicle Damage Check Form. Call GoGet to report anything not listed.
  2. Leave a ¼ Tank of Fuel-Petrol is on GoGet-use the fuel card to fill up if you’re running low. The card can be found with the car key, and the PIN is in your booking confirmation email or the GoGet app.
  3. Carry your GoGet Card-Keep your smart card on you – GoGet cars lock themselves after being inactive for a little while. If you ever lock yourself out of a car, you can always call GoGet for help.
  4. Keep it Clean -Tidy up at the end of your trip. Take rubbish with you, brush off any dirt or mess, and take all your things. If the Van needs a proper clean, let GoGet know. All Go Get Vehicles are smoke-free
  5. Return on Time-If you’re going to be late, you can extend your booking online, or by using the GoGet App.
  6. Turn everything off-Before getting out of the Van, make sure the key is out of the ignition, all the lights are off, and the doors and windows are closed. Then lock the Van by swiping your smart card.

Store with the people who care
At Kennards Self Storage, our people make the difference – we care about our centres, and we care about our customers experience. Our people are highly trained and skilled in how to help people who need or use self-storage. We realise that when you need storage you are going through a significant event in your life and that can be an emotional and stressful occasion.

We understand the pressure and stresses involved in the many reasons you may be needing our service.
We are a company that is ethical and transparent in all of our dealings. We only give you as much storage space as you need, we refund all unused rent and we have removed all ambiguous administration fees once associated with signing up for self storage.

You will also notice the commitment and care in our extremely clean and well-maintained properties.
We're more than just a space. Our people make the difference. Our Penrith property is maintained to the highest standard and our systems and processes have been derived from our experience and customer feedback.

We’ve worked hard to make sure on moving day your storage experience is seamless. From digital sign up, to afterhours access to insurance, our team take the time to find you the right fit.

24/7 Access
In many of our centres, we have installed the technology that enables our customers to enjoy 24-hour access. This means that you do not have to manipulate your time to our hours when you need access, you can come any time that suits you.

This is great if you are running a business and need late and early access to serve your customers.

No Fixed Period
When customers sign up for their storage units, they have the peace of mind knowing they are not locked into any fixed term contracts. Unlike many other rental scenarios, Kennards Self Storage customers enjoy the freedom of moving out whenever they choose to. There are no lock in periods, they simply pay their storage unit price one month in advance and continue a monthly rental billing plan. How great is this! When customers move out before the month end, Kennards Storage will even pro rata refund any unused rent back to the customer.

In simple terms, you rent storage, pay one months in advance, decide to move out after staying 3 days. Kennards Self Storage will refund you the remaining days back into your account, so you only pay for the 3 days. It’s fair to say Kennards Self Storage are the leaders when it comes to refunding unused rent.

Security
As part of our Store with People Who Care values we invest heavily in our security systems, training, and daily routines. It’s something we are passionate about. From security fencing to flood lights, we work hard to protect against danger, damage, and loss.

Our customers enjoy peace of mind with our security practices.  We offer a selection of security services to meet your needs. Electronic security entry and exit gates controlled by your own unique gate P.I.N, Flood lighting, CCTV throughout, individually alarmed spaces supported by an afterhours back to base monitoring service, and wait for it, our team will personally check your padlock every single day.
