Have You Visited The Milton Mini Markets?

June 24, 2021 by Nichola Goodwin

Fresh street food culture has been gaining momentum in the past 5 years. Pop up restaurants and food stalls combined with food trucks has taken the Aussie food industry by storm.

This phenomenon has made it to Brisbane, with many pop up food stalls lining the foreshore of the CBD. In particular the Milton Mini Markets located on the corner of Cribb and Little Crib Streets, Milton is becoming the go to lunch destination.

Open on Thursdays from 10:00am to 2:00pm the market offers a wide range of food truck and pop food stalls. Locals and busy office workers love the variety offered and the affordable prices. There is a smorgasbord of food choices ranging from, noodles, curries, fried chicken, gourmet burgers, fresh seafood and much more.

The market is expanding to also include fresh produce, sweet treats (for when those naughty 3:00 pm cravings strike), live entertainment and rotating specialty stores each week. The same site has come alive on Sundays as well, where the Milton Markets offers fresh farm-direct produce, market provisions, baked goods and more.
Food stall operators also have a full time job outside of their foodie passion. The dilemma for these operators has been where to store and keep their equipment during the week and have quick access to retrieve and set up at the market.

Discovering Kennards Self storage has been a major win for the operators. Kennards Self Storage operate 17 self storage location across Queensland. Operators in the Milton Mini Markets are using Kennards Self Storage located on 16-20 Black Street, Milton 4064.

Operators love the no lock in contracts Kennards Self Storage offers. What this means is customers only pay 1 month in advance, they can leave anytime they like and Kennard Self Storage will even pro-rata refund any unused rent.

Kennard Storage Milton offers a large range of different storage unit sizes to suit. Also there is plenty of equipment on hand for customers to use, ie, pallet jacks, large moving trolleys, electric operated walk behind fork lift and much more, all free of charge.

The parcel pick up and drop off area is extremely popular with food stall operators as they are not always on site to receive their deliveries. Kennards Self Storage has a dedicated area the items can be dropped off and they will even send you a text message to notify you of your delivery.
