Kennards Self Storage Gold Coast, Southport Standing Tall In A Field Of Its Own
Kennards Storage is a proud family business you can feel comfortable storing with The People Who Care. We have storage locations everywhere and have now added to our locations on the Gold Coast. At our new Southport Storage Centre we have space for everyone! Personal and Business Storage, as small as one cubic metre storage lockers up to unit sizes of 54 square metres and everything in between.
First impressions of the Southport facility scheduled to be opening on September 24, 2020, creates an incredible wow factor in contrast to its current industrial park surroundings. Standing alone on a very large block of land on Wardoo St, located only a few minutes on foot from Queen St Light Rail and the Bus Station. It is an excitingly looking, colourful facility that you will visit for various storage reasons or to simply source moving boxes.
Driving down Wardoo St, the massive Kennards Self Storage site stands out as a gleaming beacon of Kennards orange and blue, amongst the already buzzing activity. Shops, distribution centres and warehouses fill Olympic Circuit, which looks overwhelmed from a shortage of storage space and needing rescuing by Kennards. The windows of the top four floors are like the eyes, the face and the soul which invite you into the building to be met by our team offering world-class customer service. Bol and Catherine will be on site ready to greet you in September.
Set in a perfectly accessible position, this brand new, purpose-built, six storey building has a mixture of walk-in, drive-in, upstairs, ground level, small and large storage units and huge warehouse storage solutions. The centre also comes equipped with a box shop selling storage boxes and packing supplies.
The Southport team are excited to meet customers that will be using the newest of storage facilities on the Gold Coast. As the saying goes at Kennards Storage, there are two types of people, those who store at Kennards and those who want to!

Nicky joined the Kennards Team in October 2016 as Operations Manager for QLD. Nicky’s business back ground comes from the fashion and industrial work wear industry. As well as her passion for Kennards Self Storage Nicky’s focus is her Team that she works with, knowing that the key to success is ultimately through its people, listening to Customers and Team Members share their own stories and experiences. Nicky enjoys working with a remarkable Team in a fun supportive way fostering the Kennards Culture. Personally, Nicky is devoted to her husband and blended family of 7 kids, 3 dogs and 4 chickens. Nicky’s moto is: “Keep smiling – frowns are too much hard work!”
